That dream stayed tucked in her heart until 2015, when she moved to Tomball, Texas, drawn by the strong sense of community and the kind of high school environment she wanted for her son.
In 2024, Kim began working alongside Pam and Jerry Vance, the longtime owners of “Me and My Porch.” As the opportunity arose to carry the torch, Kim embraced it with gratitude and vision. In naming the store Holland House, she chose to honor her maiden name and her family’s legacy—creating a space that’s not just stylish and welcoming, but deeply personal.

Holland House is built on the foundation of a space that has long been loved by the Tomball community. For over 20 years, Pam and Jerry Vance ran “Me and My Porch” at this very location a cozy shop known for its hand-painted furniture, custom floral designs, and true Texas hospitality.
When Kim “Holland” Hatfield took over in 2024, she didn’t aim to replace that legacy—she aimed to build upon it. The floral section remains as a heartfelt tribute to Pam and Jerry, and the warm, welcoming energy they created still echoes through the store today.
Now, Holland House blends timeless charm with fresh finds—local makers alongside beloved brands, old favorites with modern touches. It’s a place where everyone belongs, and where every purchase tells a story worth sharing.
